Why I do this work
Throughout my life, I have seen the best and worst of what the healthcare system has to offer. Timely medical intervention has spared my children and I from certain death. However, I have also been subjected to interventions that caused immense harm, and experienced abuse while undergoing care.
My purpose is not to persuade you to take a certain path, nor do I want to dissuade you from pursuing another. Rather, my objective is to help you feel empowered; regardless of whatever decision you ultimately choose.
Simply put, I want you to have access to insights and tools that I never had. It’s my way of paying it forward.
